Tony Robbins Shares 5 Ways To Get Rich Faster

It doesn't take financial wizardry or a winning lottery ticket to increase your net worth. A few smart moves could instantly make you richer.
In his new book, "Money: Master The Game," Tony Robbins shares five core strategies for achieving your financial goals faster.
Any one of them will put more cash on your personal balance sheet, but if you tackle several at once, "you'll be unstoppable," he says.

1. Save more and invest the difference.

Saving is not exactly sexy, but it's a highly effective strategy for growing your net worth. If you find a way to put more money aside and invest it smartly for compound growth, Robbins says you'll dramatically speed up your financial goals.
For those who feel they just can't squeeze any more out of their paychecks, he says it isn't as hard as it seems if you get creative.
For example, by making early principal payments on a traditional 30-year fixed-rate mortgage, you could pay off your home in half the time and spend almost 50% less.

2. Earn more and invest the difference.

One of the fastest ways to have more money is to make more. Robbins says the key to increasing your income is to become more valuable. Ask yourself: Are you in a company, location, and occupation where your skills are in demand? Does your compensation reflect the value you're providing, and is it time to ask for a raise or up your rates? Are there ways you can make additional income outside of your day job? If you commit to earning more, you will find a way, he says.

3. Reduce your fees and taxes, and invest the difference.

"It's not what you earn that matters, it's what you keep," Robbins says. Investing in high-cost mutual funds vs. low-cost index funds that mimic the performance of the entire stock market can cost you thousands of dollars over decades. He also notes that the average American spends more than half of their income on taxes (income tax, property tax, sales tax, etc.) in their lifetime.
Finding ways to reduce your investing fees and taxes will instantly put more money back in your pocket. One idea: Relocate to one of the seven states in the US — Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming — that doesn't have a state income tax.

4. Get better returns.

What's the difference between a 10% return and a 4% return? Robbins asks. A 10% return doubles your investment every 7.2 years, while a 4% return doubles every 18 years.
While many people think the secret to getting big returns is taking big risks, Robbins says highly successful investors look for asymmetric risk-reward, meaning big upside potential with little downside.
For instance, hedge-fund billionaire Paul Tudor Jones always looks for opportunities where if he risks $1, he thinks he can make $5.

5. Change your lifestyle.

You could make a big lifestyle change and move to a less expensive city or country (think Bali, Fiji, Costa Rica) today, says Robbins. Why wait for retirement? There are smaller lifestyle changes that could help you hold onto your cash, too.
"It's all about being more efficient and more effective with your earnings and your savings," Robbins says. "At the end of the day, the best investment you can make is the one you make in yourself and your lifestyle."

7 Steps for Creating the Life YOU Want

We all aspire to do, be and have great things. Yet most of us simply aren't creating the results we want. We complain that we don't have enough money, romance, success or joy in our lives.
We point fingers and blame outside problems that "happen" to us and make life more difficult. But what we need to understand and keep at the forefront of our minds is that greatness exists in all of us. It is simply up to us to pull it out of ourselves. Regardless of personal circumstances, economic climates, and access to resources, it helps to maintain faith in the fact we each are more powerful than we think.
We all have the ability to create the life we want. We just need to learn how to do it. Is there an exact "formula"? No, but there are certain common features that successful people exhibit and that anyone can practice. They are what can jumpstart your success and attract what you want in life. You'd be hard pressed to find any high achiever who doesn't live by the following 7 tips:

1. Take No Less than 100% Responsibility for Your Life

One of the greatest myths that is pervasive in our culture today is that you are entitled to a great life and that somehow, somewhere, someone is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness, exciting career options, nurturing family time and blissful personal relationships simply because we exist. But the real truth is that there is only one person responsible for the quality of the life you live. That person is you.
Everything about you is a result of your doing or not doing. Income. Debt. Relationships. Health. Fitness level. Attitudes and behaviors. That person who reflects back at you in the mirror is the chief conductor in your life. Say hello!
I think everyone knows this in their hearts, but the mind can play games, tricking plenty of people into thinking external factors are the source of failure, disappointment, and unhappiness. But the truth of the matter is that external factors don't determine how you live. You are in complete control of the quality of your life.
Successful people take full responsibility for the thoughts they think, the images they visualize, and the actions they take. They don't waste their time and energy blaming and complaining. They evaluate their experiences and decide if they need to change them or not. They face the uncomfortable and take risks in order to create the life they want to live.

2. Be Clear Why You're Here

I believe each of us is born with a life purpose. Identifying, acknowledging and honoring this purpose is perhaps the most important action successful people take. They take the time to understand what they're here to do, and then they pursue that with passion and enthusiasm.
If you don't know what you're supposed to be doing, then just tune in to the signals around you. Looking toward others for help and guidance is helpful, but don't forget to stay tuned in to yourself—your behavior, attitude, likes and dislikes, and life experiences. Identify what's working and what isn't. If you need to, write it all down. You might be surprised by what you discover.

3. Decide What You Want

It sounds so simple, but here's the problem: I see plenty of people who are overly-busy yet who feel unsatisfied and unfulfilled. They are physically tired, spiritually drained, and far from where they'd like to be—as if they've been running on a treadmill going nowhere fast. Why? Because they haven't clearly mapped out what they want and then taken the steps to get there. Rather than identifying specific goals, milestones, and dreams (and I'm talking BIG dreams and goals here), they go through the motions day in and day out tackling unimportant tasks. They end up...you guessed it...going in circles and wasting lots of energy. In the meanwhile, they grow increasingly uninspired and out of touch with their authentic selves. This, of course, sets anyone up to living a life out of balance.
One of the main reasons why most people don't get what they want is they haven't decided what they want. They haven't defined their desires in clear and compelling detail. What does success look like to you? Not everybody's definition of success is the same, nor should it be.
Don't let your inner devil's advocate (or that incessant but unimportant To Do list) inhibit you from dreaming big. As soon as you commit to a big dream and really go after it, your subconscious creative mind will come up with big ideas to make it happen. You'll start attracting the people, resources, and opportunities you need into your life to make your dream come true. Big dreams not only inspire you, but they also compel others to want to play big, too.

4. Believe It Is Possible

Scientists used to believe that humans responded to information flowing into the brain from the outside world. But today, they're learning that instead we respond to what the brain, based on previous experience, expects to happen next. In fact, the mind is such a powerful instrument; it can deliver literally everything you want. But you have to believe that what you want is possible.
As you commit to believing in yourself, also make a commitment to toning down the complaint department. Look at what you are complaining about. I'm fat. I'm tired. I can't get out of debt. I won't ever get a better job. I can't stand the relationship I have with my father. I'll never find a soulmate in life. Really examine your complaints. More than likely you can do something about them. They are not about other people, other things, or other events. They are about YOU.

5. Believe in Yourself

If you are going to be successful in creating the life of your dreams, you have to believe that you are capable of making it happen. Whether you call it self-esteem, self-confidence or self-assurance, it is a deep-seated belief that you have what it takes; the abilities, inner resources, talents and skills to create your desired results.
Have unwavering faith in yourself, for good and bad. Make the decision to believe that you create all your experiences. You will experience successes thanks to you, and you will experience pain, struggle, and strife thanks to you. Sounds a little strange, but accepting this level of responsibility is uniquely empowering. It means you can do, change, and be anything. Stumbling blocks become just that—little hills to hop over.

6. Become an Inverse Paranoid

This one is straightforward: Imagine how much easier it would be to succeed in life if you were constantly expecting the world to support you and bring you opportunity. Successful people do just that.

7. Unleash the Power of Goal Setting

Experts on the science of success know the brain is a goal-seeking organism. Whatever goal you give to your subconscious mind, it will work day and night to achieve. To engage you subconscious mind, a goal has to be measurable. When there aren't any criteria for measurement, it is simply something you want, a wish, a preference, or a good idea.
Sometimes we need to make just one initial goal to get started, and that's okay. At least it comes with a few actions to achieve. A first step simply can be making an immediate change in a single area in your life. Are you unhappy about something that is happening right now? Make requests that will make it more desirable to you, or take the steps to change it yourself. Making a change might be uncomfortable and overwhelming for you. It might mean you have to put in more time, money, and effort. It might mean that someone gets upset about it, or makes you feel bad about your decision. It might be difficult to change or leave a situation, but staying put is your choice so why continue to complain? You can either do something about it or not. It is your choice and you have responsibility for your choices.
Bear in mind that you have to be willing to change your behavior if you want a different outcome. You have to be willing to take the risks necessary to get what you want. If you've already taken an initial step in the right direction, now's the time to plan more steps to keep moving you forward faster.
Isn't it a great relief to know that you can make your life what you want it to be? Isn't it wonderful that your successes do not depend on someone else?
So if you need just one thing to do different today than you did yesterday, make it this: Commit to taking 100% responsibility for every aspect of your life. Decide to make changes, one step at a time. Once you start the process you'll discover it is much easier to get what you want by taking control of your thoughts, your visualizations, and your actions!

100 Things Every 20-Something

                               Needs To Realize In
                                                  2015

Every new year we make promises to ourselves to make significant changes in our lives in the upcoming 365 days. We all have our resolution or list of resolutions — even if it’s only a mental list.
Making changes — lasting changes — isn’t a simple task because it doesn’t just require a change in action, it requires a change in mindset. But how can you change your mindset unless you understand what your mindset truly is?
That’s why I recommend writing down realizations and theories you have on just about everything and anything going on in your life or on life itself.
Just sit down and make a nice long list of some of the beliefs you have, making sure to go over it later to better understand the way you see the world.
I have my list of 100 here to share with you. Hopefully, it’ll spark some ideas of your own.
1. Chivalry is only dead if you let it die.
2. You can’t redo the most important moments in life. So do them right the first time around.
3. You shouldn’t date only for the sake of dating.
4. The way you see the world is your own personal version of the world — no one else shares the same exact version of reality.
5. It’s impossible to fail if you refuse to give up.
6. Often, we find that wrong decisions were what led us to the right place.
7. If your life is easy, then you’re not trying hard enough.
8. The “One” exists, but there’s more than just one of them out there.
9. If you keep sending nude pics, there’ll be no reason to want to see you naked in person.
10. If people aren’t adding to your life, they’re taking away from your life.
11. There are always opportunity costs; you can’t have it all.
12. Your health should always be your first priority.
13. Intelligence can be bought — and for a lot less than a college education.
14. America is no longer the greatest country in the world — at least not objectively.
15. Religion is both the greatest good and the greatest evil in the world.
16. Your religion isn’t any better or more righteous than anyone else’s. It’s just a different version of the same theory.
17. Humans aren’t any better than animals. We’re just smarter; there’s a difference.
18. People are mostly made by nurture, not nature.
19. There’s always another way to skin that cat.
20. Sex can be a beautiful thing, but it won’t be beautiful on its own.
21. Most of the foods we eat shouldn’t even be labeled as “food.”
22. You can easily survive by drinking nothing but water for the rest of your life.
23. Exercise is often the differentiating factor between being happy and being miserable.
24. Your life would be a lot better if you focused today’s actions on making you feel better tomorrow.
25. Simplicity is the key… to just about everything.
26. The simplest answer is an acceptable answer only if it actually solves the problem.
27. If you love them, tell them. A shocking number of individuals never get that chance.
28. Smoking weed won’t kill you, but it could make ruining your life much easier.
29. Just because it’s illegal doesn’t necessarily make it wrong.
30. Just because it’s legal doesn’t necessarily make it right, nor does it necessarily make it morally acceptable.
31. Violence only furthers the spread of hatred.
32. Killing or maiming, even when it’s supposedly for a greater cause, is almost always a selfish act.
33. Sometimes, the world we’re born into makes us into the monsters we see today. It’s not an excuse, however, only an explanation.
34. Change is always possible. Even if we can’t rewrite our story thus far, we certainly can change the way our story progresses and ends.
35. Sometimes, you are the problem.
36. We are slowly destroying the planet, and there is a high likelihood of the situation deteriorating at an exponential rate.
37. Media comprise a business that sells what sells, in whatever format it believes it will sell the most.
38. If you feel the need to brag, you probably don’t have anything worth bragging about.
39. If you want to succeed in life, then you’re going to have to put yourself out there.
40. If everybody loves you, then you’re not doing it right.
41. People are 10 times more likely to post a negative comment or give negative feedback than they are to give positive feedback — that goes for just about everything in life.
42. Everyone has an opinion. Remember that opinions are just opinions, not facts.
43. Making changes — lasting changes — isn’t a simple task because it doesn’t just require a change in action, it requires a change in mindset. Much of what we believe to be true right now will prove to be false in 50 years.
44. There is such a thing as good TV — unfortunately, most of it is garbage.
45. Reading a book a month can change your life.
46. If you don’t know, ask.
47. It’s great to be the smartest person in the room, but it’s much better to place yourself in rooms where there’s room for personal growth.
48. It takes roughly 10,000 hours and 10 years to truly master anything. Even the Greats couldn’t produce a masterpiece in less than nine years.
49. It’s OK to be nostalgic from time to time.
50. Most of the things created or performed around the world — both on a personal or business level — are made inefficiently, which means there’s always room for improvement.
51. You have to work hard and work smart in order to succeed.
52. Never allow someone to tell you that you can’t accomplish something.
53. Some things just take time.
54. Changing the world starts with changing how you see the world.
55. Leaders are born. Great leaders are made.
56. Living the life of your dreams is almost certainly a lot less expensive than you think it is.
57. Most people spend their lives working only to retire and do that what they could’ve been doing all along.
58. Life should be spent creating and improving.
59. If you want to be remembered, then you need to be great.
60. Romantic love is intense and exciting, while true love is much less turbulent and much deeper.
61. Most people aren’t completely illogical; they just base their thinking on fallacies and shallow inquiries.
62. Being free doesn’t mean being able to do whatever you want to do…
63. It means making progress toward a better life as seamlessly as possible.
64. Most people aren’t corrupt, but some people are.
65. You need to stop stereotyping.
66. Your life would be better if you focused on a handful of aspects and let the rest go.
67. There’s no such thing as talent. Sure, you can be more inclined to pick up and learn information in certain ways versus others, but no one is born a talented painter, runner, doctor, writer, orator.
68. Many animals are capable of loving, which means they’re capable of emotions very similar to those of human beings — both painful and pleasurable. It’s science.
69. If you can’t have fun without drinking, then you have a drinking problem.
70. Most women probably deserve not only to make as much as men, but to make more.
71. An alarming amount of people can’t define misogyny, yet use the word regularly.
72. Just because a guy has an opinion on, or about, women doesn’t make him misogynistic. That’s not what misogyny is.
73. Plenty of guys are assh*les — but they’re not all bad. It may take some time to weed out the duds, but it’s worth the wait.
74. If life gives you lemons, you should still do your best to squeeze out a Porsche.
75. If you want it bad enough, you’ll get it. If you don’t have it, you simply don’t want it enough — not yet, at least.
76. There’s not much worse than an opportunity missed. If you miss one once, make sure it’s the last time that happens.
77. If you don’t take that leap, you’ll never learn to fly.
78. Relationships are full-time jobs. Coasting along for too long will get you fired.
79. Most people don’t find their soulmates — but never let this deter you from continuing your search.
80. Most people fail not by losing, but by giving up.
81. There’s probably someone out there working more efficiently than you, doing all he or she can to reach the same goals you have.
82. When making a decision, only the outcome matters. So obvious, yet so often missed.
83. If you find someone worth loving, don’t let that person go. You’re probably just being silly even considering it.
84. Some people will never work together.
85. You never want to settle in life — in anything or any form.
86. It’s always impossible until someone proves everyone else wrong.
87. Work with good people. Hang out with good people. Love good people. Everything else will work itself out.
88. Appreciate everything you have and prepare for losing it all — eventually, we all lose everything.
89. Don’t work jobs you hate — just don’t do it.
90. You should think more and judge less.
91. Talking less and observing more is the best way to interact with others.
92. If you know you’re not going to finish it, don’t start it in the first place.
93. We all have a responsibility to help each other and to work toward making the world a better place for all living things.
94. People can change. They just don’t do so very often.
95. Having a strong bond with your family makes all the difference.
96. Your family doesn’t necessarily need to be related by blood.
97. There’s no reason to be a piece of sh*t. You’re just making the world a nastier place because you feel like it.
98. Most people don’t care. We can always find a handful of people, however, who do. And that’s all we need.
99. If you want to be wealthy, you need to make the right acquaintances.
100. In the end, you make your own decisions. If you’re happy with the way you live your life, keep on living it that way.
